Hybrid Eyebrow Tint - 4 Colours

Marie-José hybrid eyebrow tint is a 15 ml cream tint that colours brow hairs and skin in one treatment, with results lasting up to 6–7 weeks on the hair and up to 7 days on the skin, and about 50 treatments per tube.

Clients who want fuller brows often ask for a henna effect, but not every brow professional works with powder. Hybrid eyebrow tint combines brow tint and skin stain in a cream formula that you mix with the matching developer. How does hybrid eyebrow tint work?

Regular brow tint only colours the hair. Hybrid eyebrow tint also leaves a stain on the skin. That makes the brow look fuller, even on clients with thin or uneven brows. Hairs stay tinted for up to 6–7 weeks, the skin stain lasts up to 7 days.

The tint works exclusively with the Hybrid Brow Tint Developer 3%. The cream mixes into a smooth, creamy paste that is easy to apply evenly. The formula contains chamomile extract, saffron extract, pea protein and sunflower seed oil, among other ingredients.

Four shades of hybrid eyebrow tint

• Ash Blonde — a cool shade for clients with light blonde hair or who want a cool result. Mixing tip: combine with Medium Brown to soften the cool tone.
• Light Brown — for dark blonde to light brown hair, or for a soft, natural brow.
• Medium Brown — the most versatile shade, suitable for many hair colours and skin tones.
• Dark Brown — for full, defined brows on dark hair, softer than black.

The shades can be mixed to create a custom colour.

Mixing ratio and processing time

• Mixing ratio 3:2 — 3 parts tint to 2 parts developer, for example 3 beads of tint to 2 beads of developer. Mix fresh for every client in a non-metal dish.
• Processing time 1–8 minutes — the longer, the more intense the colour.
• Ombré — 5–8 minutes on the tail, 2–3 minutes on the head of the brow.
• After brow lamination — reduce the processing time to about 3–5 minutes.

In short: how to use hybrid eyebrow tint

1. Carry out a patch test 48 hours before every treatment.
2. Cleanse and degrease the brows, map the shape and protect the surrounding skin with a contour paste.
3. Mix tint and developer in a 3:2 ratio into a smooth, creamy paste.
4. Stamp the tint onto the brows with a brow brush, without dragging, and remove any overspill immediately.
5. Process for 1–8 minutes, depending on the desired intensity.
6. Remove with a dry cotton pad and correct stains outside the shape with tint remover.
