The Marie-José Duo Brow Powder Kit contains two pigmented powders, six reusable eyebrow stencils, a dual-ended brush and a compact mirror. In just a few minutes you create full, natural-looking brows that are waterproof and stay in place for up to 24 hours.

Are your brows thin or uneven, or do you struggle to make left and right match? With a stencil you set the shape before you apply any color. Both brows get the same shape, even if they differ naturally. Read how to do it step by step in our guide to using an eyebrow stencil with brow powder.

Why two shades?

A real brow is not equally dark everywhere. With a single shade of powder, brows quickly look flat or drawn on. Two shades let you recreate the natural build-up of a brow:

• the lighter shade at the start of the brow, for a soft beginning;
• the darker shade for the arch and tail, for depth and definition;
• both shades mixed, for a color that matches your hair exactly.

The result is a soft ombré effect without harsh lines.

Which color combination suits you?

• Grey (Charcoal) & Black — for grey, silver or black hair. A cool grey shade that fills in thinning brows without looking heavy; use the black to add depth.
• Warm Taupe & Light Brown — for blonde, strawberry blonde and light brown hair. Defines softly without overpowering fair features.
• Medium Brown & Dark (Espresso) Brown — for medium to dark brown hair. From soft and natural to full and defined.

How to use the kit

1. Choose one of the six stencils.
2. Place the stencil on your brow, with the highest point of the stencil on the highest point of your brow.
3. Hold the stencil firmly in place with your middle and index finger.
4. Dab the powder on with the brush in both directions. Start with a light layer and build up where you want more color.
5. Remove the stencil, shake it out and repeat on the other side.

Want the powder to last even longer? Apply the White Stick first as a primer, and set the shape afterwards with clear brow gel.
